Delpheon enables implementation of any Industry 4.0 Use case through a simple 9 step process which is focused mainly on understanding the business requirement and then configuring the Gateway and Cloud towards deploying it. The application is realized by configuring the dashboards, reports, and events using a 'drag, drop, & connect' tool which uses a reusable 'widgets' library. This whole process takes significantly lower time, and the application is ready to use in the hosted server (SaaS model). Since there is no development from scratch, overall time-to-market is lower by more than 60% by using Delpheon.

The major risks and challenges in Industry 4.0 are:
  • Existence of large number of legacy & outdated systems in the factories
  • Difficulty in estimating the ROI accurately to justify the business case
  • Deciding on the practicalities (roadmap) & priorities
  • How to leverage the huge volume of data collected
  • Security
Delpheon enables every IIoT use case implementation and addresses the above challenges through consultancy for Industry 4.0 readiness assessment, quick PoC implementation to facilitate the ROI computation, Integration of Advanced AI&ML based analytics engines, and configurable user management supporting multi-level authentication and accessibility.

Major benefits of Delpheon are:
  • Rapid use case application realization
  • Jump starting of Industry 4.0 journey with lower investment and timeframe
  • Simple no-code data collection mechanism from different types of data sources using different protocols
  • Realization of real-world solutions faster with low risk
  • Pre-built components for device and user management
  • Incremental deployment of applications across locations, servers & timeframe ensuring scalability
  • Guaranteed quality, reliability & availability of data
  • APIs for multi system integration such as AI & ML engines, Visualization tools, data lakes/Datawarehouse, and enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, etc.

Delpheon deployment follows a 9 step process:
  • Starts with the study & analysis of the requirement & feasibility
  • Finalization of KPIs, dashboards, reports& alerts
  • Finalize the BOMs & initiate procurement
  • Cabling, instrumentation & installation
  • Configure the Gateway for data collection
  • Configure the cloud for derived parameters & KPIs
  • Implement the dashboards, reports & alarms
  • Launch the application in staging server
  • End-to-end Testing & deployment to the production server

Gadgeon can perform a readiness assessment to evaluate your IT and business readiness towards Industry 4.0. You will have a clear IIoT adoption roadmap as part of the assessment report.

Scalable and open architecture enables multiple IIoT solutions under one umbrella that securely connect devices and applications. Depending on the physical location of machines, number of data sources and frequency of data collection, number of Delpheon-Gateways (edge gateways) to be deployed is decided. These multiple Gateways are integrated to Delpheon-Cloud server.

When additional use cases are to be deployed, will first check whether the already deployed Gateways can support or not. If the Gateway has capacity, then the new equipment are configured in the Gateway to establish the connectivity. If the existing Gateway has capacity issues, a new gateway will be installed and the equipment are configured to get connected. The gateway (s) will harmonize the data per respective configuration setting and send to the cloud. The use cases will be developed and deployed using the data.

Yes, through its User Management components, we can create different user groups with roles & access permissions and privileges. The users depending on the group and role, can have access only to the assigned node (s) in the overall hierarchy structure defined for the enterprise.

The users can make or configure custom dashboards by using the dashboard builder tool which leverages the pre-fab components available using a drag-and-drop feature. The data from Delpheon-Cloud can be exported for visualization using tools like PowerBI and tableau.

Custom alarms and notifications can be configured by combining basic & derived parameters defined for the use case. The platform supports mathematical computations to define the alarm conditions. For each alarm or event defined, notification mechanism can be configured such as email, SMS alerts etc.

Yes, provided the cloud storage supports one of the protocols like MQTT, Kafka, or IoT Hub.

The communication protocols supported at the Gateway for collecting data are Wi-Fi, BLE, LoRa, Zigbee, Z-wave, ModBus, BACnet, OPC-UA, and HART IP. The interface to Cloud are Kafka, MQTT, IoT Hub and AWS Green grass.

Yes

Yes, The data collected at the Gateway is send to the cloud and can be stored in the enterprise Data foundation such as Data Warehouse or Data lakes.

Yes possible, each addition or removal of data sources & sensors are to be followed by configuration changes at the Gateway. As a best practice it is advised to leverage the services of Gadgeon or authorised System Integration partner.

Yes, Delpheon Supports integration using a 3rd party gateway hardware by loading our firmware and applications.
